Total Package Vacation: A Cruise

A cruise vacation is a total package deal, which is one thing that makes it the most appealing.  The only things you need to worry about include plan tickets to and from the departing port city and the cost of the cruise.  The reason a cruise is a package deal is because it includes food, lodging, and entertainment.  You are not required to pay for anything else unless you want to shop or pay for alcoholic beverages on the ship.

The major cost of a cruise vacation is the cruise itself.  You will have to pay for each person in the family.  If you are trying to go on a budget, be sure you get a room that will fit everyone.  The more staterooms you have to pay for, the more money it will cost you.  Many cruise ships charge a lot of money for a big room but you don’t have to pay a bunch for each additional person.  This can actually come out to a cheap vacation.  If you are celebrating your naturalization application being approved through USCIS, a cruise is a low cost way to celebrate with the entire family.

One of the most expensive costs when you take a vacation is lodging in hotel rooms.  If you have a large family with immigration forms, they may be split up in different rooms.  Paying for many different hotel rooms can be far too expensive.  This is often the cause of many families not going on vacation each year.  A cruise is the package deal and once you pay for the cruise you don’t have to pay any additional charges for lodging.  You sleep every night on the ship in a cabin.  The cabins have plenty of space for people to put their clothes in a closet, televisions to watch, a bed to sleep in, and some even have an outdoor balcony so you can step outside and see the ocean.

Some people think the food on a cruise ship is the most extravagant that you will find in the world.  Depending on where the cruise is headed to, this could be true.  Expect a lot of seafood; you are going to be at sea.  Also, you can expect amazing fresh fruit, constant buffets, and even a formal dinner night on some ships.  Dining is included with a cruise and you won’t have to pay anything in addition for food once you board the ship.  That is of course, if you don’t want to buy something from the gift shop.  Always remember alcoholic beverages are not included as free with a cruise.  You will receive a bill at the end of the vacation.

The best package deal vacation you can consider for a big family is a cruise.  All you have to pay for is the cruise itself, the transportation to get to the leaving and arriving ports, and any additional shopping you want to do while you are away.  Be sure to bring spending cash and be careful not to charge items to your room.  You might have a big bill at the end of the trip.
